Galanor Update #4 - Warden Exchange, Tekton mass boss, Executive Box, and more

Hello friends,

 

This week we bring you a new Warden Exchange System, the new Tekton mass boss, a new Executive Box with a juicy drop table and a lot more!

 

 

Warden Exchange

 

 

You can now exchange your spare items for warden points, which can then be spent in a shop filled with amazing rewards.

 

Here is a gif showing the items that can be exchanged, but feel free to interact with the object at home to check it for yourself.

 

 

And of course here is a preview of the shop:

 

 

The new Combat Urns are items you can keep in your inventory while you're PvMing and they will fill as you do damage.

 

Once they're full you'll get a reward!

 

 

Tekton Boss

 

Tekton will spawn at a random location every 2 hours.

 

You can type ::tekton to teleport to the correct location.

 

There is a timer on the quest tab to check when it's going to spawn, and when it does there is a broadcast message so you don't miss it.

New Executive Box & Youtube Box

The new executive box can be obtained from the webstore, olm, tob and nightmare.

 

It is filled with juicy items, as you can see in the rewards interface:

And there is also a new "Youtube box" which can be obtained from youtuber's streams

 

It gives 1-3 items from the following list:

New best-in-slot Melee & Magic sets

Two new sets have been added to the game, the Master set (bis melee) and the Luna set (bis magic)

 

They are currently unobtainable, but that will change soon!

Patch Notes

As always we have done a bunch of small bug fixes and general improvements to the game.

 

Here is a list of relevant patches:

 

- Amulet of souls now has stats
- Farseer shield now requires 80 defense
- Melee faceguard now gives more str bonus than regular faceguard
- Barrows shields drop from barrows now count towards the collection log
- Fixed infernal mage respawn timer 
- Added ranged and magic turmoil scrolls to nm table

- Fixed starfire being better than pernix

- Buffed pernix ranged str

- Auto-smash vials now works for flasks

- Troll invasion is now every 12 hours

- Troll invasion now guarantees a galanor key

- Can now right-click the teleport button next to the minimap to teleport to previous location

- Corp now has defense against magic and ranged

- Brutal blue drags in Catacombs are no longer aggressive

- Zulrah antivenom drops are now noted

- Fixed random 50 damage from tob

- Can no longer use alts at Olm

- Gargoyle drops are noted

- Fixed some slayer assignment teleporting you to "the void"

- Adjusted stats on superior equipment

- Imbued hearts now have timers

- Can open all ckeys at once
- Adjusted Starfire ranged gear
- Buffed Pernix stats
- Buffed twisted bow
